Plays all common formats — MP3, FLAC, AAC, MP4, MKV, WebM and more. Powered by Android's Media3/ExoPlayer.
Load .srt, .vtt, .ass or .sub files directly into the video player, exactly like VLC. Tap the subtitle icon while watching.
Audio keeps playing when you lock the screen or switch apps. Notification controls and lock-screen integration included.
Per-device EQ with presets, band sliders, bass boost and virtualizer — wherever your phone supports them.
Swipe left edge for brightness, right edge for volume. Horizontal swipe to seek. Double-tap to skip 10 seconds.
Browse by song, video, album, artist or folder. Create and manage playlists. Mark favourites. Track history.
The app remembers your position. A resume button appears on the home screen — but never starts playing on its own.
No internet permission, ever. No remote images, no metadata lookups, no telemetry. Works in airplane mode.

The app does not declare the INTERNET permission. It cannot make network requests at all.
No Firebase, no Crashlytics, no third-party SDKs that phone home. There is no analytics code in the app.
No ads, no advertising IDs, no ad SDKs. The advertising ID permission is not requested or used.
There is no login, no sign-up, no cloud sync. Everything lives locally on your device.
Track info, album art and thumbnails are read from the local file only. Nothing is fetched from the internet.
The app requests storage access to read your local media files. It never reads, moves or deletes your actual files.

Vobot Player does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data. The app has no internet access and cannot communicate with any server, including ours.
We collect nothing. Vobot Player stores the following data locally on your device only:
This data is written to a local SQLite database on your device. It is never transmitted anywhere.
Vobot Player may request the following permissions depending on your Android version:
The INTERNET permission is not declared in the app manifest. The app cannot make any network request.
The advertising ID (AD_ID) permission is not requested or used.
Vobot Player includes no third-party SDKs that transmit data. There is no Firebase, no Google Analytics, no Crashlytics, no ad network, and no remote configuration service.
The only external code used is Android's own Media3/ExoPlayer library, which handles local file playback on-device.
Vobot Player does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. There is no account system, no user identifier and no data transmission.
If we ever update this policy, the new version will appear at thevobot.com/mediaplayer and will note the effective date at the top.
